Gary Wysocky - The Neighborhood & Environmental Leader We Need on City Council
Gary Wysocky serves as President of the Junior College Neighborhood Association, was a founding Board Member and immediate past President of the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition, runs his own CPA business, is an active member of Friends of SMART, has taught at Sonoma State University and Piner High School and, most proudly, is a single dad to his teenage daughter, Jessica.
He is also a long time advocate for bike paths, pedestrian walkways and alternative transportation in Santa Rosa and Sonoma County.
Gary is running to put his progressive words into action:
- As a candidate, Gary "walks his talk." Bicycling is his primary mode of transportation and he has installed solar panels on his home to reduce his carbon footprint.
- As a neighborhood leader, Gary has worked to make our planning process more inclusive and responsive.
- As a Sonoma County leader, Gary was a founding board member of the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition, fighting for better bikeways, alternative transportation routes, reducing auto traffic, and improving pedestrian pathways.
Gary is running a strong campaign for City Council, finishing in the top tier of fund raisers during the first reporting period and earning endorsements from dozens of elected officials, organizations, community leaders and citizens.
